Methodology
The NextInSci Research Topics Bank is an academic initiative designed to support Bachelor's and Master's research in electrical power engineering, renewable energy, advanced power networks, digital energy management, innovative technologies, and artificial intelligence.
From a topic to a research plan
- Choose a research direction and academic level. Review the objective, methods and expected outcome.
- Discuss the topic with your supervisor and follow your university's approval procedure.
- Define the research question, scope, assumptions and measurable success criteria.
- Review the scientific literature and record all references.
- Confirm access to data, software and laboratory resources before finalising your plan.
- Build a model or experiment, validate results against a baseline and document limitations.
- Prepare the thesis with reproducible methods, results, conclusions and proper citations.
Choosing an academic level
Bachelor projects typically apply established methods to a defined engineering problem. Master projects should include deeper analysis, comparison or methodological development agreed with the supervisor.
Editorial review
Proposals undergo an initial scope and duplicate check, scientific review of relevance and methods, publication with a version and date, and periodic review or archiving.
